Hunger Awareness Month

September is Hunger Awareness month. In our community 1 in 6 children is considered "food insecure" because they either don't have food in their home or have don't have access to sources of food. During the month of September, House on the Hill is working to provide over 6000 meals to these vulnerable families. Our volunteers make it happen every month through participating in our food box distribution, helping during our fundraising opportunities and through spreading the word about what we are doing to promote sustainable food sources and food choices with the families we serve. You can be a part of hunger awareness through volunteering with HOTH. Join us on Tuesday September 7 from 5-7pm or Wednesday September 8 from 8:45-11am. For more information, signup to "Volunteer With US!" by following the link at the top of this page.
